“चुनाव से चुनाव” की राजनीति: क्रन्तिकारी दलों की भूमिका

भारत की स्थिति सब को पता है, यहाँ तक की शोषकों को भी| कोरोनावायरस महामारी, आर्थिक संकट (जो महामंदी की स्थिति में है), सरकार का निकम्मापन और झूट का सहारा सामान्य हो चूका है| ताज़ा आंकड़ों के अनुसार, 2020-21 में घरेलु सकल उत्पाद (GDP) में 7.5% का संकुचन आया है|  पुलिस, सेना, मीडिया, न्यायलय, प्रशासन जनता के सवालों और समस्याओं के समाधान करने के बजाय जनता के मालिक बन बैठे हैं और उन्हें लूट रहे हैं| सिर्फ लूटना ही नहीं, बल्कि उसके ऊपर अत्याचार करने में आनंद लेने लग गए हैं| युवकों और स्त्रियों तक पर डंडा मारते पुलिस के विडिओ सोशल मीडिया पर भरे पड़े हैं| नदियों में शवों का अम्बार, और श्याम्शान घाट के बाहर ही जलाने या दफन करने के लिए सम्बन्धी कतार में लगे हैं| बेरोजगारी की सीमा ही नहीं है, जो एक अनुमान के हिसाब से 42 करोड़ से ज्यादा है| इस बार के कोरोना वायरस दौर में, 2 करोड़ से ज्यादा लोग गरीबी रेखा के निचे आ चुके हैं| औरतों, अल्पसंख्यकों, आदिवासियों ( क्यों की जमीन है उनके पास, जिसके निचे प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का अम्बार है|), बच्चों, दलितों पर अत्याचार रोजमर्रा की बात है| अवैज्ञानिक और अन्धविश्वास फैलाना, विवादित बयान देना राजनीति में कैरिअर बनाना है| बलात्कार, हत्या, नर संहार, पूंजीपति वर्ग की चापलूसी करना सोने में सुहागा है| इन सबके के बाद सरकार का दावा है कि उसने कोरोना वायरस को हरा दिया है और उसने जनता को उसकी “बहादुरी” के लिए शाबाशी दी है|

ऐसी विकट परिस्थिति में मजदूर वर्ग, किसान और प्रताड़ित जनता का संघर्ष ‘मद्धिम’ और बिखरा हुआ है| उसके पार्टी या संगठन भी एक क्रन्तिकारी विचारधारा के अभाव में दिशाहीन हैं| “चुनाव से चुनाव” तक की राजनीति में ही मशगुल हैं| अभी 5 राज्यों में हुए चुनाव में वाम दलों का प्रदर्शन कतई संतोष जनक नहीं रहा| केरल में जरुर उनहोंने सत्ता में वापसी की है, और उसपर वे इतरा भी रहे हैं, पर बंगाल में उनका सफाया हो गया| पिछले विधानसभा में उनके 33 विधायक थे| बाकि राज्यों में भी कोई उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि नहीं है| मत प्रतिशत के अनुसार भी उनका संकुचन ही हुआ है| यदि वे जीवित रहने की लड़ाई भी लड़ रहे हैं तो उसमें भी असफल हो रहे हैं| किसी भी क्रन्तिकारी दल के अस्तित्व का आधार क्रन्तिकारी विचारधारा है, जिसे वे त्याग चुके हैं, और इस लिए उनके नेता, विचारक, काडर, समर्थक की संख्यायों और क्रन्तिकारी संघर्ष करने की ताकत में भारी गिरावट हुई है| क्रन्तिकारी संगठन बिना क्रन्तिकारी विचारधारा और भूमिगत ढांचा के दक्षिणपंथी दलों के ही प्रतिबिम्ब सा दिख रहे हैं!! आज भी इनकी रैलियों में हजारों और लाखों की भीड़ नजर आती है, पर मत पेटी तक आते आते किसी और दल को चले जाते हैं| विचारधारा और कार्यक्रम में भी भारी अंतर है और वह भी मुख्य कारणों में से एक कारण है इस दयनीय स्थिति का|

1953 के बाद जब सोवियत यूनियन में पूंजीवाद की पुनुर्स्थान या वापसी शुरू हुआ, तब से लेकर आज तक विश्व के अधिकांश साम्यवादी दलों ने, भले ही सत्ता में हों, वर्ग संघर्ष और समाजवादी निर्माण का रास्ता छोड़ दिया, और वर्ग समन्वय का रास्ता अपना लिया| यानि पूंजीपति वर्ग से हाथ मिला लिया, या उसके चाकर तक बन गए| तक़रीबन 70 वर्ष हो गए, विचारहीनता और भटकाव के स्थिति से गुजर रहे हैं मजदूर वर्ग और प्रताड़ित जनता और उनके वामपंथी; समाजवादी या साम्यवादी दल| अधिकांश ने यह सुविधापरस्त रास्ता जान बुझ के अख्तियार किया, जबकि कुछ “इमानदार” दलों ने अज्ञानतावश| भटकाव और गद्दारी ने लड़ाकू और संघर्ष करने वाल वर्ग, मानव समाज के सबसे अग्रसर मजदूर वर्ग को कमजोर किया और वह बिखर गया है| भयानक से भयानक अंतर्द्वंद में फंसने के बाद भी, पूंजीपति वर्ग अपनी सत्ता बनाये रखने में समर्थ है| यही नहीं, मजदूर वर्ग के एक हिस्सा के ही समर्थन के साथ पूंजीपति वर्ग अपनी सत्ता कायम किये हुए है| जिसका उदहारण भारत है; ब्राज़ील, अमेरिका, ब्रिटेन भी इस हार या प्रतिगामी कदम के अच्छे उदहारण हैं|

सर्वहारा संकृति को आज के सर्वहारा वर्ग के जीने के तरीके, रीति रिवाज और सोचने के तौर तरीकों को ही मान लिया गया है| जिसका नतीजा आज के वामपंथी दलों में दिख रहा है जो समाज सेवी बन गए हैं और मजदूरों और किसानों के धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों में भाग लेने लगे हैं, फिर भी उन्हें मत नहीं मिल रहे हैं| मतदाता धर्म और देश के नाम पर दक्षिणपंथियों का साथ दे रहे हैं, धर्म और जाति के नाम पर ध्रुवीकृत हो रहे हैं| जनता का प्रतिरोध भी चुनाव तक सिमित रह गया है और भाजपा को हराने के लिए वे दुसरे दक्षिणपंथी दलों का साथ दे रहे हैं, जो बंगाल में दिखा| बिहार का उदहारण या प्रयोग असफल हो गया बंगाल में| दिल्ली में तो ‘प्रमुख’ वामपंथी दलों ने भाजपा को हराने के लिए चुनाव ही नहीं लड़ा और आआप का साथ दिया|

चुनाव से चुनाव तक का एक और नतीजा हुआ या हो रहा है, जो विश्वव्यापी है; “कम बुरे” को चुनना| अमेरिकी जनता की ख़ुशी 100 दिन होते होते ही ख़त्म हो गया जब बिडेन राष्ट्रपति बने, ट्रम्प को हराकर| दुसरे रुसी ड्यूमा में बोल्शेविकों ने उस बेहुदे सोच को नकार दिया था, जो मेंशिविकों का था कि बोल्शेविकों (आरएसडीएलपी) के अलग से चुनाव लड़ने से वामपंथ और प्रगतिशील वोट बिखर जायेंगे और भारी प्रतिक्रियावादी पार्टी, “ब्लैक हंड्रेड” जीत जायेगा| प्रतिक्रियावादी सोच को ख़ारिज किया| उनका लक्ष्य स्वतंत्र मजदूर वर्ग के राजनीति को स्थापित करना और बढ़ाना था| याद रहे, पहले ड्यूमा चुनाव का बोल्शेविकों ने बहिष्कार किया था| सर्वहारा वर्ग के बदलते मूड और राजनितिक परिथिति के अनुसार चुनाव के महत्त्व और जरुरत को समझना किसी भी क्रन्तिकारी पार्टी के लिए जरुरी है, ताकि चुनाव का (बुर्जुआ वर्ग के सत्ता, संस्थानों और नियमों का भी) जहाँ संभव हो, क्रन्तिकारी उपयोग कर सके| क्रन्तिकारी उपयोग, नाकि उसमें समाहित हो जाना और सर्वहारा वर्ग को बुर्जुआ वर्ग के हितों के अंतर्गत कर देना या गुलाम बना देना| स्पष्ट विचारधारा और सही, क्रन्तिकारी नेत्रित्व जरुरी है किसी भी क्रन्तिकारी दल के सतीत्व और विकास के लिए|

मांगों की राजनीति: यह भी उसी चुनावी रणनीति का परिणाम है| “महामहिम”  राष्ट्रपति, राज्यपाल, मुख्यमंत्री, जिला अधिकारी, आदि को ज्ञापन देना एक फैशन रहा है, जहाँ विपक्षी दलों के नेता, जिसमें वामपंथी भी शामिल होते थे| फिर पत्रकार सम्मलेन में उसका खुलासा करना और “महामहिमों” के साथ फोटो सत्र को जनता के पास पहुँचाना उनका ‘क्रन्तिकारी’ कदम होता था| शाम में उनका ‘राजनितिक भोज’ भी होता था, जिसमें दुसरे विपक्षी दलों के साथ ‘सौहाद्रपूर्ण वातावरण” में विचारों का आदान प्रदान होता था, जिसमें चुनावी तिकड़म पर काना फूसी भी होता था| लक्ष्य था वोट बैंक बड़ा करना और विपक्षी वोटों को बांटने नहीं देना| क्या एकता था! आज भी ये संशोधनवादी नेता पुराने दिनों की याद में टसुयें बहाते नजर आते हैं| अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी के मरने के बाद प्रकाश करात ने दुःख प्रकट करते हुए कहा था कि आज हमें ‘वाजपेयी जी’ के विचारधारा की जरुरत है| जबकि राम विलास पासवान के मरने के बाद सीपीआई एमएल (लिबरेशन) के नेता,जेनेरल सेक्रेटरी दीपांकर भट्टाचार्या, ने दुःख प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि ‘सामाजिक न्याय’ के लिए काम करने वालों में उनका नाम अमर रहेगा! राजनितिक लोकाचार संसदीय राजनीति का ही हिस्सा है; वैसे दुःख प्रकट करना और दक्षिणपंथियों के विचारधारा की प्रशंसा या जरुरत की बात करना अलग बात है, और आज तो वे प्रतिक्रियावादी हो गये हैं|

मजदूर एकताबढ ना हो तो कुछ भी नहीं है, पर एकता का आधार होता है, अन्यथा बेमानी है, शायद चुनाव जितने के काम आ जाये, फौरी तौर पर, पर उसका नतीजा आज दिख रहा है; वाम का खात्मा; वैचारिक, संगठनिक और राजनितिक रूप में| एकताबद्ध मजदूर एक शक्ति है जिससे पूंजीपति वर्ग कांपता है और उसकी बेचैनी इसी से दिखता है, कि वह हर वह प्रयास करता है, जिससे सर्वहारा चरित्र ना बन सके| वर्गीय आत्मीयता, वर्गीय एकता और वर्गीय संघर्ष का दुश्मन है जाति, धर्म, क्षेत्रीयता, देश्वाद, व्यक्तिवाद| इनसे भी खतरनाक है दलों की मौकापरस्ती और संशोधनवाद| हालाँकि ये आधार जरुरी हैं चुनाव में सफल होने के लिए|

और आज फासीवादी शक्ति का उभरना उसके खुद के विचारधारा के ताकत पर नहीं है बल्कि हमारे विचारधारा के पतन के कारण है| पूंजीवाद के अंतर्द्वंद अच्छी खासी ऊंचाई पर है| उसका उत्पादन 70% तक सीमित हो चूका है, उसके उत्पाद का मांग ध्वस्त हो चूका है| मुनाफा का जरिया अब सिर्फ उत्पादों पर एकाधिकार कीमत निर्धारण है| कमोबेश आर्थिक मंदी के पकड़ में पूरा विश्व बाज़ार है| भारत की सत्ता ऐसे में आरएसएस/भाजपा के हाथों में जा चूका है| पुराने अकुशल मंत्रियों को हटाना और नए कुशल मंत्रियों की बहाली नाटकों के सिलसिला में से एक है| यह शायद ‘संयोग’ ही है कि यह सरकार बेहद अकुशल (और घमंडी भी) है| वैसे, ऐसे उदाहारह और भी हैं; पिछला अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ट्रम्प की सरकार, ब्राजील में बोल्सोनारो की सरकार| पुरे दावे के बाद भी आज कोरोना वायरस का टिका मात्र 15% ही दिया जा चूका है, जब कि बीमार पड़ने वाले हर रोज लाखों हैं और मरने वाले 4-5000 हैं, जो कि सही आंकड़े नहीं हैं| तीसरे लहर की आवाज़ गूंज रही है| पुरे विश्व को टिका देने का वादा करने वाले का यह ह्रास!!

सवाल यह उठता है, ऐसी परिस्थिति में हम क्या करें? वापस मजदूर वर्ग के क्रांतिकरी पार्टी के गठन की ओर| वापस फिर से क्रन्तिकारी विचारधारा की ओर| क्रन्तिकारी संघर्ष की ओर| राज्य सत्ता हस्ताहत करने की ओर| इन्कलाब की तैयारी| सर्वहारा क्रांति की तैयारी|

आज के मजदूर वर्ग (हर तबके के, औपचारिक और अनौपचारिक क्षेत्रों में), किसान (मझोले, छोटे, हाशिये पर किसान, खेतिहर मजदूर), अल्पसंख्यक और आदिवासी जनता संघर्ष कर रहे हैं| एक आह्वान पर हजारों नहीं, बलिकी लाखों की संख्या में प्रदर्शन में शामिल होते हैं| 7-8 महीने से चल रहे किसान आंदोलन में आज हजारों किसान, खासकर उत्तर प्रदेश, हरियाणा, पंजाब से भाग ले रहे हैं, कोरोना वायरस महामारी और सरकार के हर प्रयास के बावजूद आंदोलन जारी है| बुनकरों, होमगार्ड के रोजाना मजदूरी पर काम करने वाले जवान, शिक्षकों का  आंदोलन का चरित्र क्रन्तिकारी भले ही न हो, नेत्रित्व निम्न पूंजीपति वर्ग के अधीन हो, और अपने आर्थिक मांगों के लिए लड़ रहे हैं, जो 3 फार्म बिल को ख़त्म करने की है, पर इस आंदोलन में शरीक वो लोग भी है, जिनकी हम चर्चा कर रहे हैं| मध्यम और छोटे किसानों के परिवार के युवा जब खेती से मुक्त होते हैं तो बगल या दूर के प्रान्तों तक में भी जाते हैं मजदूर बनके, अनौपचारिक क्षेत्रों में, जहाँ वह मजदूरी करते हैं| अपने परिवार के आमदनी में जोड़ते हैं और जो “समृधि” इनके परिवारों की दिखती है, उसका कारण यही मजदूर हैं| लाखों की संख्या में कई औपचारिक क्षेत्रों के मजदूर सडकों पर हैं निजीकरण और पेंशन खात्मे के खिलाफ| बहुत बड़े बड़े प्रदर्शन हुए हैं श्रम कानून को ख़त्म करने के खिलाफ|

जरुरत है हमें इनके बीच होने की| इनके बीच भी क्रन्तिकारी नेता और काडर बनाने की| मजदूर, क्षात्र, युवा और स्त्री यूनियन बनाने की| हवा बदलती नजर आ रही है| फासीवाद अपने अंतर्द्वंद और बढ़ते जन विरोध के कारण लम्बे समय तक नहीं टीक सकता है| इसके पतन के साथ साथ ही पूंजीवाद अपना दूसरा चरित्र या चेहरा लेकर आएगा जनता के सामने, जन सेवक के रूप में, जन पक्ष के रूप में, उदारवादी चहरे के साथ, और फासीवाद के विरोधी के रूप में| समय है, इस “परिवर्तन” का हम असली चेहरा मजदूर वर्ग के सामने लायें और क्रन्तिकारी विकल्प प्रतुत करें| सत्ता पर मजदूर वर्ग और उसके सहयोगियों के काबिज़ होने की| वह है समाजवादी क्रांति| और वही एकमात्र विकल्प है शोषित वर्ग और कराहते जनता की मुक्ति और ख़त्म होते पर्यावरण को सुरक्षित करने के लिए|

आज, एक तरफ अथाह धन और उत्पादों की अतिशयता जिसको जनता खरीदने में असमर्थ है, वहीँ दूसरी तरफ, मिहनतकश आवाम रोजमर्रे के जरुरत के सामानों से वंचित है| एक तरफ आबादी का छोटा हिस्सा, 1% से भी कम, नहीं समझ  पा रहा है की समय और धन का कैसे ‘सदुपयोग’ करें, जो अरबों-खरबों का मालिक है, उत्पादन के साधन का मालिक है, सरकार और राज्य सत्ता उसके साथ है| वहीँ दूसरी तरफ, बड़ा हिस्सा, 90-95% मिहनतकश आवाम, साधारण जीवन जीने में असमर्थ है; बेरोजगारी, भुखमरी, बीमारी, अज्ञानता और अन्धविश्वास झेल रहा है| यह स्थिति अनावश्यक है और बेमानी है| इसका खात्मा होना जरुरी है, हो सकता है और हमें करना होगा| और यही हमारा ऐतिहासिक कार्यभार है| और इस कार्य को पूरा करने की जिम्मेवारी है मजदूर वर्ग के क्रांतिकारी दल की| और रास्ता है क्रांति का, इन्कलाब का| भगत सिंह और उनके साथियों (हिंदुस्तान सोशलिस्ट रिपब्लिकन असोसिअशन) के अधूरे काम को पूरा करना|

How is Adityanath Government faring in UP?

This question should be asked by Akhilesh Yadav or Mayawati or Priyanka Gandhi, as in any case, they are in opposition.

They should present critical analysis about Adityanath Government.

As far as RSS/BJP governments are concerned, they have nothing to offer to the masses, as their main priority is capitalist class (that too, few selected ones among them). Employments, education and health services, housing is beyond them, in fact they are demolishing the existing ones.

That is why, they are no more talking about concrete measures for the people, but abstract things, like temple, Hindu under threat, nationalism, personality cult, Vikas (development) in general and propaganda.

How drones have added a new dynamic to conflicts

 “By now, several nations possess a vast array of drones, including significant players such as China, Israel, and Turkey, all of whom are manufacturing and selling the technology around the globe at the same time.”

“drone market has grown accordingly. In 2019, it was worth $10.53bn. By 2027, the market is forecast to reach $23.78bn, a figure hardly surprising given that about 30,000 military drones are already in use.”

How, imperialism still finds way to circumvent the economic crisis by advanced technology in warfare (and elsewhere) and create competition among the warring nations, sell its latest lethal weapons and maximize profit on its products and services.

Unless capitalism is buried completely, it will find its way to move on from the deepest crisis, however chronic that may be, and even if it is moving backwards, it will not demise on its own but destroy the productive forces, the proletarian class and the environment to survive!

Farmers Movement: Fascism is preparing violence

 Outright sabotage and provocations by the UP police, RSS/BJP & their goons! Even after SC had agreed for the peaceful protests by the farmers! Yet, it is being carried out by the RSS/BJP fascist government at country level! Force (in form of violence) will be used!

And for what? To let the farmers (poor, marginalized, small and middle) be plundered by the capitalists and financiers, which will also include from other countries.

On the other hand we must reiterate that crowd, even if consisting of tens of millions of people, cannot and will not be able to carry out a revolutionary change on its own; be it of farmers, workers, oppressed people, their united front of any kind. This is universal fact, which we have seen in last few years globally.

The change, if at all, will be of reformist in nature, some temporary retreat by the bourgeois class. This “gain” is reversible, as we have seen, like what is happening to the working class in India, after 1990s, and in other parts of the world.

For revolution, we need a revolutionary party, to educate the masses, prepare and unite them, lead them (the proletarian class and allies) for the desired changes, for the revolution.

 Bengal Assembly Election in 2021 and Left’s Role

 

Election for Bengal Assembly (Vidhan Sabha, VS) is due in June, 2021. Another very important state election, in India, after 2019 Parliament election (Lok Sabha, LS). There had been many elections in between, like Bihar and others (https://www.elections.in/upcoming-elections-in-india.html), but it has its own importance. If for nothing else, to gauze the mood of Bengal intellectuals, the working class, peasants (Ongoing Farmers Protests, https://www.youthkiawaaz.com/2021/01/peoples-representatives-and-revolutionary-situation/) after the fall of Left regime, a decade back and its repercussion, effects on the national level.

Bengal has a very rich intellectual base and a rich progressive and revolutionary historical past, even before the independence, with international famed writers (Rabindranath Tagore, Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, etc.), freedom fighters (Hundreds of them, who sacrificed for the cause), revolts starting from Naxalbari, which formed a ‘brand’ of Communist movement in India, in name of Naxalism, scientists, cine actors, and ideologues, etc. that have influenced ideologically and even shook the country, from time to time.

The people of Bengal (United, which included East Pakistan and now Bangladesh) have led India against imperialist power as well as against feudalism and other forms of injustice and discrimination. This time the “game” is different and it is to be seen, whether this bastion falls to fascism or not, in name of religion, national chauvinism, fake and poisonous personality cult. If Bengal stands against the sweeping communal forces (behind which is the economic crisis and outright plunder by the top capitalists), what will be the form?

The data on previous election will help us form a picture of the forthcoming election, though it has to be remembered that these data are neither in a series (progressive or geometrical) nor could forecast the new Bengal Assembly, though we will be having many (some unsubstantiated and fake ones to propagate in favor of the powerful and moneyed political parties) pre-poll surveys. These data are very influential on TV hosted “debates” in primetimes, which, incidentally, is no better than fish market and where, never ever, any fruitful outcome comes. Have a look:

This jump of vote percentage by BJP from 2014 to 2019 in Parliament Election is impressive, but another observation is that the Parliamentary Elections are not in synch with the State Assembly Election, barring few exceptions. Let us see, with the exception first, followed by others in recent times for BJP/NDA.

So not to go much into the past data, we only see here that these data analysis is more of an entertainment, rather to see them as a trend for the people’s mood, which incidentally shifts like sea waves, albeit with uncertain and irregular waves. The mood swing is related to the mass commotion, some idea gripping them on some issue (Remember Nirbhaya Rape Episode and Balakot incident?). They are transient, local, occasionally national, and even irrational.

Rise of TMC, Destruction of Left: Left Front in Bengal consists CPI, CPI(M), AIFB, RSP, RCPI, Bolshevik Party of India, Marxist Forward Block and Workers Party of India. This front was formed in 1977, few joined later and even quit. Since its formation, it ruled Bengal till 2011. In 1977 the Front got 46% of the polled votes and came to power. In 1982 it rose up to 53% of the votes.

In 2014 Parliament Election the Left was reduced to 29.9% and in 2016 Assembly Election it was reduced to 26%, and in 2019 Parliament Election the figure stood at 8%! The fall in Left’s popularity has been consistent.

The reason for this decimation of Left, led by the CPI(M), was mass exodus of its cadres as well as lower and middle level leaders. The voters and its sympathizers opted BJP in hope of better days, who were lured by BJP’s rhetoric and jingoism. They also hoped to defeat authoritarian Mamata Banerjee and her party “goons” and their atrocities and come back to “good” old days! BJP was seen a savior against TMC violence!

One of the reasons and important one of downfall of the Left was its inability to educate the workers and the oppressed people, and its own deviation from class struggle, which meant ground work among the masses, injecting ideology in economic demands and struggle. The gap between the top leaders and the members of the Left Front individual parties increased not only ideologically, organizationally but even in social status. The gap between the party and the masses was unbridgeable. This resembles like that of any Right-Wing political parties, based on the concept of bourgeois state (A mini ‘state’ structure in the party, call it bureaucracy or “Statism”.).

There was a news on electronic media on 13 Jan, 2021. TMC asked Left and Congress to help it in fighting against BJP and its communal policies (https://www.firstpost.com/india/west-bengal-parties-mull-anti-bjp-alliance-tmc-asks-cpm-congress-to-back-mamata-inc-says-join-forces-with-us-9199281.html). This can be seen as fear in TMC leaders, though the TMC so far has not suffered any appreciable loss in its vote shares, despite increase in that of BJP. But the way BJP is leading the election campaign, the apprehension is natural. It may lead through selected riots, even though not on mass scale, use of ED, CBI, IT Dept to intimidate the candidates and force them to quit TMC. The impartiality of EC is further eroded in Bihar Assembly Election, where the declared winning candidates were declared as lost later (https://www.businesstoday.in/current/economy-politics/bihar-election-results-as-bjp-led-nda-takes-clear-lead-twitterati-allege-evm-tampering/story/421577.html). The claims can not be substantiated but the behavior of EC is unbecoming of its status as an independent constitutional institution.

The above facts, data and reasoning leads to an old jargon, “Lesser Evil”, which is universal and props up during elections, like selection between Democrats and Republicans in the USA and between the Labor and the Tories in UK. There is another syndrome “Who/Where is the Alternative?” or more assertive TINA (There Is No Alternative). This is the outcome of Parliamentarian Politics or ‘Election to Election’ Politics, where the ground work or work among the proletarian class is minimum or does not exist. Incidentally, RSS/BJP are doing the ground works (including underground violent, supported by the state) to capture the power without break, which includes mass rallies, meetings, protests, etc. (Cow vigilante groups, Anti Romeo Squads, Bajrang Dal, and many more.). This was not a practice followed by RSS, Jan Sangh (earlier political wing of RSS), BJP and other affiliated RSS family members earlier, but started after 1975-77 JP movement and became very prominent after 2012-13 Anna movement.

Conclusion: There cannot be any final conclusion of any ongoing process, where we analyze pre-poll conditions and even later as ‘lessons learnt’. However, there are few outcomes of the above research, important ones, firstly, the Left and the Revolutionary forces have erred, deviated and even dumped their revolutionary political line and practices. They cannot be ‘advised’ on their theory and practices, as they even shy in self-criticism publicly, forget about accepting others’ evaluation.

Secondly, once these revolutionary forces have accepted the Parliamentarian path for the desired changes (they call it revolution to supersede capitalism with socialism!!), winning the election becomes (and has become since long) the most important task (see for analogy, the downfall of AAP, after they started selecting their candidates on winnability factor.). Why shy away from TMC, which is not much different than Congress (its mother organization) ideologically?
