New Normal
The ruling class is more than happy, world over, with its "New Normal", seemingly accepted by the people, even singing & dancing on its tune, full of religiosity, casteism, racism, national chauvinism and generally not demanding employment, education, health services and their natural as well as democratic rights!
Do you think, "New Normal" won't explode and will continue for ever?
The recent example of US should be taken into consideration, where millions of people were on road, despite Coronavirus Pandemic, against their racist government, after a black man, George Floyd, was murdered by a white American police in broad daylight.
There had been gigantic protests in dozens of countries, against the falling standard of life due lack of employment, education and health services, inequalities, police atrocities, judicial apathy, erosion in subsidies and welfare measures by the state, state sponsored violence & discrimination, etc.
They, however, got silenced due pandemic, but mass revolts and resistance are still visible, in Europe, US, Asia, Africa, Latin America. Many are not reported, we only come to know through Social Media.
The living conditions of the working class and the oppressed people is deteriorating. Economic recession, likely to develop into economic depression, to match 1928-1931 economic recession, is further destroying their ability to sustain even bare minimum living style. Take example of India, unemployment rate is above 27%, income of 82% Indians has reduced considerable.
The mankind had never witnessed such low, even during 2nd WW, where tens of millions died in war against Fascism and Nazism. Now, it lacks material as well as spiritual base to live like a human, different than a beast. And this is in 21st century, where products and services of every kind is more than double to see a healthy living for every Earthians. The relation between progress or accumulation of wealth (in hands of few) and the betterment of people's life is in indirect proportion.
In addition, we have science, which could discover gravitational waves, medicine for almost every disease (including COVID-19), peep deeper into past and future. But majority of the Earthians remain superstitious due lack of scientific education and lack of an all round healthy living condition.
Is this New Normal desirable? More appropriate question is, "is this New Normal sustainable"? Of course not, as we have seen and learnt from the past and present experiences.
But there is another New Normal in the bigger New Normal discussed above, imperceptible for the general mass, who are not well versed with the revolutionary politics. That is, despite the mammoth mass revolt, protests by the millions, which sometimes even change the governments, Capitalism, in its various forms, survives, often with more vital energy, has audacity to revenge (including murder) against the leaders and the key personnel, to set examples to deter the future movements.
This failure is understandable, lack of a revolutionary party with a revolutionary ideology, lack of a revolutionary goal, which is Socialism, lack of unity of the proletarian class and hence balance of forces in favor of the ruling class, and inability to appreciate the revolutionary situation.
This "small" New Normal is more worrisome. It is known to the capitalist class and its think tanks, the political managers, economists, stooge. This has emboldened them, and they have refused, so far, to give any considerable relief to the toiling masses and hardly care for the millions starving, lack health services and roofs.
And this New Normal must be Combated by all the revolutionary parties, by making themselves stronger in quantity (number) as well as in quality. Absolute negation to opportunist ideology, revisionism and reformist demands and politics is the historical need today. Prepare for Revolution, the opportunities are following in quick succession, at smaller intervals, unlike in the past, and this is also a New Normal, which is worrisome to the capitalist class, and which must be welcomed by us and used.
New Normal has more mass and energy than ever, like a growing black hole, which gobbles more and more mass and energy, like stars, planets, before exploding, and creating a new world, like may be new solar systems. More mass and energy implies more motion in nature and more commotion in human society.
(Whatever the black hole gobbles, the matter and the energy seems to get mangled, destroyed forever, but no, when the black hole explodes, we get back all the matter, in whatever form, back. In human society, the destruction of the hundreds of millions of the people, in various forms of Class War, since the evolution of private property, is "preserved" and carried forward in the New Normal and will be added in the explosion. This may sound an absurd simili or a silly rhetoric, but is correct to the extent, to understand our past struggles and draw lessons, dialectically.)
In case of human society, the present New Normal has many deep irreconcilable growing contradictions, accumulated pain and mass commotion, AgitProp done by us, experiences gained by the people, revolutionary parties and organization, growing pauperisation, rising unity among the working class and the oppressed people, loss of faith in present system, absurdity of the gigantic accumulation of fictitious capital and equivalent surplusing of laborers, etc.
Prepare for the new, more powerful than ever, explosion from within the New Normal!
